The BII Atlas is built privacy-first. Here is how we treat what you share.
Privacy-first by design
Identifying account information is kept logically separate from research datasets.
No ad trackers on your health data
We do not place advertising trackers on private health dashboards, and never send symptom information into marketing analytics.
Research is always optional
Participation is never required to create an account or use the tracker.
Never sold
We do not sell individual health information. De-identified data is only ever used in aggregate.
You stay in control
You can withdraw research consent at any time, and export or delete your data.
No public exposure
We never publicly expose your identity alongside your symptom information.
Research consent
Contributing is a separate, voluntary choice.
Research and community-data participation is never bundled with signing up.

You manage this anytime from your dashboard. Declining does not limit your use of the tracker. Consent can be withdrawn later.
